Medical disclaimer
The information on this website is intended for awareness and teaching purposes only. It does not replace examination, diagnosis or treatment by a physician. If you have a health complaint, consult a physician. Acute, rapidly worsening or unusual symptoms (for example, severe pain after an injury, pain accompanied by fever, weakness in the limbs, disturbance of bladder or bowel function, unexplained weight loss) may require urgent medical attention.
Education and professional practice
- The Academy's programme is a programme of professional education and advanced training in osteopathy.
- The right to practise osteopathy professionally is determined in each country by that country's legislation. In many countries, osteopaths must be registered in a state register or meet certain requirements. The recognition of the diploma for professional practice in another country depends on that country's requirements.
- In Azerbaijan, the legal status of osteopathy as a separate specialty has not yet been defined. The work of specialists who have trained in osteopathy abroad is therefore assessed within the framework of their existing medical specialties, the rules for admission to professional practice and the relevant licence. If osteopathy is recognised as a separate specialty in the future, separate requirements may also be set for it.
- Graduates must carry out their professional activity in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and within the professional scope of their primary qualification (physician, physiotherapist, etc.).
Confidentiality of registration documents
- The documents you submit at registration are used solely to verify that the enquiry comes from a professional.
- Once the verification is complete, the documents are deleted without being shared with any third party.
- At the first lesson, two consent forms concerning the protection of your personal and educational data are signed.
Teaching materials and copyright
- Module handbooks, lesson videos and other teaching materials are protected by copyright.
- The materials are for the Academy's students only. Copying, distributing, selling or passing them on to third parties is prohibited.
- Participants are not permitted to make their own video or audio recordings during lessons.
Photos, videos and testimonials
- Student testimonials reflect personal experience. They are not a promise of treatment outcomes.
- No personal patient data, clinical case histories or “before and after” images are published on this website.
