Admission
Admission and registration
Who is admitted to the Osteopathy Academy, what information and documents are needed for registration, and the rules on payment, cancellation, suspension of studies and other matters.
Who can apply?
According to the OSD programme guide, the programme is open to the following candidates
Physicians
Senior-year students in these disciplines
The Academy also invites other specialists working in the field of rehabilitation to its training. If your profession is not on the list above, clarify the admission requirements with the Academy before registering.
Why is a medical background required?
Osteopathic examination and treatment require in-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology and clinical reasoning, as well as the ability to recognise the signs of serious disease in time. The World Health Organization's standards for osteopathic education also provide for a separate, shortened training model for professionals with prior medical training (see: WHO education standards).

- change teachers;
- change the teaching venue;
- set renewal fees;
- make changes regarding the university certificate;
- depending on the quota situation, suspend a class and merge it with the next class.
The lesson schedules also state that, should a teacher face unforeseen circumstances, OCT has the authority to change dates and teachers. All changes are communicated to students in advance.
