1. General information

This policy explains how your data is processed when you use the osteopatiya.az website (hereinafter the “Site”) and when you contact the Osteopathy Academy (hereinafter the “Academy”). The Academy's teaching venue: ELF Center, Rəşid Behbudov küçəsi 112, Baku.

The Site does not require registration or the creation of an account. No personal data needs to be provided in order to view the Site's pages.

2. What data is processed?

2.1. Enquiry form

The form asks for your first name and surname, your profession, the subject of your enquiry and an optional message.

When JavaScript is enabled in your browser, the form does not send any data to the Site's server: your browser prepares a message for WhatsApp and opens WhatsApp. The message reaches the Academy only when you send it in WhatsApp.
When JavaScript is disabled, the form data is sent to the Site's server. The server immediately redirects it to a WhatsApp link without storing it.

2.2. Correspondence via WhatsApp, telephone and Instagram

When you contact us via WhatsApp, telephone or Instagram, the information you send, including your telephone number or account name, reaches the Academy. These services process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

2.3. Registration data and documents

Registration is carried out via WhatsApp. Registration requires your first name and surname, a professional or student certificate, an email address, a telephone number, the academic year you have chosen, your preferred payment plan, and a university document or an OSD-related document.

The documents you provide at registration are used solely to verify that the application comes from a professional.
Once the check is complete, the documents are deleted without being shared with any third party.
At the first lesson, two consent forms concerning the protection of your personal and educational data are signed.

2.4. Technical data

The server hosting the Site may, like other web servers, keep technical logs of requests (IP address, date and time, page opened, browser information). These logs are used for the security and technical operation of the Site.

3. Cookies and browser storage

The Site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
The settings you choose in the accessibility menu (text size, contrast, font, etc.) are stored in your device's browser storage (localStorage, key “oa-a11y”) and are not sent to the server. You can delete these settings with the “Reset all” button in the accessibility menu or from your browser's settings.

4. Third-party services

Google Fonts. The fonts on the pages are loaded from Google's servers. In the process, your IP address and browser information are transmitted to Google.
YouTube. Video lessons are shown via youtube-nocookie.com and are loaded only after you press the play button. From that point, YouTube (Google) may process data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
WhatsApp, Instagram, Google Maps and partner websites. When you click links leading to these services, those services' own rules apply.

5. For what purposes is the data used?

to respond to your enquiries;
to carry out registration and check registration documents;
to organise the teaching process and inform students about organisational matters;
to provide information about trial lessons, Open Days and webinars;
to ensure the secure and proper operation of the Site.

6. Retention period

Registration documents are deleted once the check is complete.
Correspondence is retained for as long as is necessary to respond to the enquiry and to organise the teaching process.

7. Your rights

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Personal Data”, you have the right to find out what data about you is being processed and to request its correction or deletion. You can send your request to us via WhatsApp, telephone or Instagram.

8. The Site's audience

The Site is intended for healthcare professionals, students of medicine and physiotherapy, and anyone interested in osteopathic education.

9. Changes to this policy

The Academy may amend this policy. A new version takes effect on the day it is published on the Site. The effective date is shown at the top of the page.
